New Delhi: Copper futures on Monday fell 0.38 per cent to Rs871.95 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market. On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery eased by Rs3.30 or 0.38 per cent to Rs871.95 per kg in a business turnover of 6,865 lots. Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
Speculators trim positions in aluminium futures
Aluminium futures declined 60 paise to Rs233.45 per kilogram as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On MCX, aluminium for delivery in July fell 60 paise or 0.26 per cent to Rs233.45 per kg in 4,075 lots.
